I’m really nervous about public speaking… is this for me?
Yes, and you are exactly who this programme is designed for! This is where the Mindset part of the MAV Method™ comes in.
Clare has coached many individuals, including TEDx Speakers, who were initially terrified of public speaking and went on to confidently deliver their talks, many of whom have since continued to seek out further opportunities. She is also a trained Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway facilitator, so you will be supported to move through fear, rather than waiting for it to disappear.
Do I need to have spoken on stage before?
No, not at all! This programme is designed for new and emerging speakers as well as those who may have done some speaking but don’t yet feel confident or clear in what they’re delivering.
What if I don’t have a story or anything to say?
You do! You just haven’t been supported to see it clearly yet. One of the first things we do inside From Story to Stage™ is help you uncover, organise and clarify that message so it feels coherent, meaningful and ready to share.
What time are the weekly sessions?
Weekly live sessions will take place on Wednesdays (occasionally Tuesdays) from 7pm – 8pm.
What if I can’t attend the sessions live?
Attending live is always recommended, as it allows you to fully engage, ask questions and get the most out of the experience. However, all sessions will be recorded and the replays will be sent out the following day, so you can catch up at a time that works for you.
When and where will the Stage Craft Intensive Day take place?
The Stage Craft Intensive Day is planned for mid-June and will take place at a central Wolverhampton location, making it easy to access by public transport. We are currently finalising the exact date and venue, and full details will be shared with all participants in advance.
When and where will the Speaker Showcase be held?
The Speaker Showcase will take place at the end of June or early July at a central Wolverhampton venue. Final details will be confirmed soon, but you can expect a professional, well-hosted event where you will deliver your talk in front of a live audience.
Who will be in the audience at the Speaker Showcase?
The audience will be intentionally small and supportive, creating a safe but real environment for you to step into your voice.
It will include your fellow speakers, along with invited guests such as friends, family, colleagues and members of our wider network.
The event will be ticketed and professionally run, giving you a genuine speaking experience without it feeling overwhelming.

I’m Clare Roberts-Molloy, Midlife Mindset, Action and Speaker Coach
I’ve spent years helping people step into their voice and use it with confidence and impact.
I’m also the organiser of TEDxWolverhampton, where I’ve worked with and coached speakers to deliver powerful talks on stage. Through this, I’ve seen first-hand what makes a message land, and what holds people back.
Across my work, I’ve supported individuals who started out feeling unsure, underprepared, or like they were “winging it”… to becoming confident, clear and compelling when they speak.
Not because they suddenly became different people.
But because they were given the structure, support and space to:
shape what they really wanted to say
build trust in their voice
and practice delivering it in a way that feels natural and impactful
I’m also a speaker and Podcast host myself and so understand what it feels like to tell my story on stage and across different media!
